Christopher Thompson has extensive experience in law enforcement and community support, currently serving as a Correctional Officer at the Indiana Department of Correction since November 2020. Responsibilities include monitoring security procedures, managing offenders, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the facility. Previously held roles include Family Support Professional at CareGivers, Inc., where individual support was provided to those with disabilities, and School Resource Officer at Indianapolis Public Schools, focusing on conflict resolution among students. Christopher also served as Chief of Security and Operations at Marion County Community Corrections, overseeing inmate custody and staff management. Earlier experience includes working as an Internal Affairs Officer at the Indiana Department of Correction, handling allegations of misconduct, and as an Account Sales Representative at Comcast, managing sales strategies. Currently pursuing education at Martin University since August 2019.
