Marcelo Alexandre Santos has had a varied work experience since 2008. Marcelo began their career as Manager/Salesman at Madefer madeiras e ferragens in 2008. In 2013, they worked on a Virtual Learning environment to support the study of trauma care at FEA. In 2014, they were a Developer/Undergraduate Trainee at ProRadis. In 2015, they were a System Developer on a Research Project REBRATS at Universidade de São Paulo, and also Co-Founder of My Diet Web, a software in nutrition. In 2016, they were Co-Founder of Nesh. In 2017, they became Co-Founder and CEO of Carefy, a patient management and monitoring platform.

Marcelo Alexandre Santos has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Informatics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they obtained between 2011 and 2015. Marcelo then went on to obtain a Master's degree in "Sistema de informação para visitas médicas beira leito" from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 2016 and 2017.
