Sarah Fowler's work experience includes serving as Vice President of Care Management at Careforth since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Network Care Management at Beth Israel Lahey Health from June 2019 to November 2021. From April 2017 to June 2019, they worked as the Director of Care, Disease, and Utilization Management at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. Sarah also served as the Director of Medicare Preferred Care Management at Tufts Health Plan from 2011 to April 2017. Additionally, Sarah has teaching experience as a part-time faculty member at multiple institutions from 2010 to 2016. Before that, they worked as a Nurse Practitioner at North Shore Physicians Group from 2010 to 2011. Sarah's early career includes experience as a Clinical Services Manager at UnitedHealth Group from 2005 to 2010.

Sarah Fowler earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Purchase College, SUNY, from 1996 to 2000. Sarah then pursued a Masters of Nursing with a dual adult and gerontology specialty from MGH Institute of Health Professions between 2002 and 2005. In 2013, they completed a "Mini-MBA" Executive Education Program at Bentley University. Moreover, Sarah has additional certifications as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and a Registered Nurse.
