Hossam Elrifaei is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer II at Careem since April 2023, Hossam previously held the position of Senior Product Engineer at GO-JEK from November 2018 to March 2023. Hossam's background includes roles as a Senior Android Developer at Appsynth, Iglu, and Lazada Group, as well as experience in project leadership as a Mobile Developer Team Leader for a freelance project. Hossam's expertise encompasses both Android and iOS development, proficiency in managing the mobile development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment, and a solid academic foundation with Bachelor’s degrees in Information Technology and Computing from The Open University and the Arab Open University in Egypt.
