Saffura currently serves as the Senior Manager of Partnerships and Philanthropy at CARE Australia since June 2023. Prior to this role, Saffura accumulated over a decade of experience at Plan International Australia in various capacities, including Donor Care & Partnerships Advisor and Acting Sponsorship Coordinator, among others. Saffura's earlier experiences include working as a Fundraiser at Equality Marketing and a Mental Health Counselor at the De-addiction Centre. Academically, Saffura is pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced) at the University of Adelaide and possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Honours from Jamia Millia Islamia, along with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Dhaka National Medical College. Saffura's foundational education includes a Higher School Certificate from Cheltenham Girls' High School and a High School Diploma from Presentation Convent High School - Kashmir.
