Gary F Baxter is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of pharmacology. Since April 2007, Gary has served as Professor Emeritus and Professor of Pharmacology at Cardiff University, where Gary also held the positions of Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of the College of Biomedical & Life Sciences, as well as Head of School and Dean of Pharmacy. Prior to this role, Gary was a Reader in Cardiovascular Biology at the Royal Veterinary College from February 2002 to April 2007, and held various positions at University College London from 1992 to 2002, culminating as a Senior Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer. Gary's education includes a Doctor of Science from the University of Nottingham, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from The Open University, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from De Montfort University, and qualifications in pharmacy.
