Dr. Sumit Mistry is a dedicated academic and educator with extensive experience in tutoring, student wellbeing, and curriculum development. Currently serving as the Training and Development Coordinator at Cardiff University Students' Union, Dr. Mistry also provides one-on-one science tutoring through Tutorful and offers guidance to disadvantaged students as a Step Up PhD tutor. With a background in psychiatric genetics and neuroscience, Dr. Mistry has contributed to multiple roles at Cardiff University, including as a wellbeing champion and curriculum adviser. In addition to academic duties, Dr. Mistry is actively involved in outreach programs through The Brilliant Club and STEMNET, promoting education in underprivileged communities. Dr. Mistry holds a PhD from Cardiff University and has garnered a wide range of practical teaching and research experience throughout an impressive educational career.
