James Sun is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as VP of Engineering, AI/ML at Carbon Health, James has successfully led efforts to launch the industry's first EHR with native GenAI integration. Previous roles include Tech Lead at Aurora and Uber, where James developed novel metrics platforms and fostered collaboration across teams. James also held key positions at Apple, drive.ai, Twitter, and MoPub, where significant contributions included scaling SLAM for HD mapping and leading data migration efforts. James holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
