Grant has over twelve years of experience as a business lawyer, working both in-house and in private practice in the infrastructure and natural resources sectors. Prior to joining CE, he was senior legal counsel at SNC-Lavalin where he negotiated and advised on multi-billion dollar project contracts and joint venture agreements. Before practicing law, Grant worked in energy and environmental policy development internationally at the United Nations University in Tokyo and held consulting roles with the Asian Development Bank and Vestas Wind Systems. He holds an M.A. from the University of British Columbia and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School.
