Barry Swanson has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Barry started their career in 2013 as a Contractor at Aruba Networks, where they worked on TI cc2541 SOC programming for Bluetooth beaconing and power supply optimization. In the same year, they also worked as a Contractor at Amkor Technology, Inc., where they focused on drivers development for PLX PEX 8625 PCIE switch board.

In 2014, Barry joined Pure Storage as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to software development. Later that year, they moved to AOSense, Inc. as a Principal Embedded System Engineer, where they worked on improving the control software for AOS on the Windows 7 platform. The code was developed using C#/C++/C package.

In 2015, Barry served as a Principal Engineering Consultant at Hive, working on various engineering projects. Their role involved providing expert advice and guidance in engineering solutions.

In 2016, Barry joined Carbon by Design as a Senior Software Consultant under Adeeco.

Barry Swanson obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Rochester. Barry pursued further education and completed their Master of Engineering in the same field at North Carolina State University.
