Kirk McKeown has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Kirk is currently a Co-Founder at Carbon Arc since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Point72 as the Head of Proprietary Research from January 2018 to February 2021. Before that, they held the position of Head, Point of the Spear from January 2016 to December 2017 and Head, Canvas Fundamental Research Group from December 2012 to December 2015, both at Point72. Kirk also worked at Glenview Capital as the Managing Director, Head of Prop Research from January 2006 to June 2012. Kirk started their career as an Analyst at HUNTER GLOBAL INVESTORS from June 2005 to December 2005 and at TUDOR INVESTMENT CORPORATION from June 2000 to June 2003.

Kirk McKeown completed their education at the following institutions. From 1989 to 1995, they attended Belmont Hill School. Then, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Harvard University, from 1996 to 2000. Finally, Kirk obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from MIT Sloan School of Management between 2003 and 2005.
