Jeff Koul is a Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in software design, architecture, and leadership across various technology sectors. Currently serving at Captivation since September 2023, Koul contributes to software systems for RF collection and processing. Previous roles include leading cloud-based image analysis projects at Lufburrow & Company, Inc., and software architecture for recommendation engines at Applied Technology Group, LLC. Koul has significant experience in government projects, working with Hadoop and Accumulo ecosystems at Altamira Technologies Corporation, and has led technical teams at Praxis Engineering. Koul's earlier career includes a founding role at Link Labs, directing data services for IoT applications, and senior positions at Next Century Corporation and AOL Time Warner, leading backend services and core engineering teams. Koul holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
