Dan Bensimhon has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dan started their career at Cone Health in 2005, where they served as the Medical Director of the Advanced Heart Failure & Mechanical Circulatory Support Program. In 2007, they founded Moonlighting Solutions, LLC & MLS TeleHealth, LLC, where they held the position of Founder & CEO. Dan also served as a Heart Failure Cardiologist at Moses Cone Hospital/CHMG Heartcare during the same period.
In 2009, Dan became a Board Member of the LeBauer-Brodie Cardiovascular Research Foundation. In 2017, they worked as a Consultant at Sensible Medical Innovations Ltd., and in 2018, they held the same position at scPharmaceuticals.
In 2019, Dan joined InnaMed as a Clinical Advisor, where they supported the company in clinical and commercial efforts related to building closed-loop heart failure at-home and telemedicine networks.
In 2020, they became the Medical Director at WellSky, a position they held until April 2023.
Dan co-founded Ventricle Health in 2021, where they hold the position of Co-Founder & CMO. Additionally, they joined Caption Health as a Medical Director in January 2022.
Dan Bensimhon completed their Bachelor's Degree in American Literature at Duke University from 1985 to 1989. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued an Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. Finally, from 1994 to 1998, they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from UPMC.
