Chakameh Azimpour, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Analytical Development at Capsida Biotherapeutics, focusing on team leadership and method development for regulatory compliance. Previously, at Amgen, Chakameh held roles including Sr. Principal Scientist and Principal Scientist in the Biosafety Development Group, leading initiatives in Viral Clearance Assessment and fostering a culture of diversity and sustainability. Chakameh’s earlier experience includes scientific roles at Agilent Technologies in process development, teaching at California State University-Channel Islands and various community colleges, and research positions at the National Genetics Institute and NRCGEB. Chakameh holds advanced degrees in Genetics and Virology from the University of Vienna and IRAN University of Medical Sciences, respectively.
