Gene Sipprell currently serves as the Local Government Ministries Regional Director for the Midwest and the Minnesota State Director at Capitol Ministries since July 2021. With extensive experience in pastoral roles, Gene has provided pulpit supply services through Sipprell Ministry since 2003 and has functioned as a campus pastor with Presbyterian Homes and Services since September 2003. Previous positions include Associate Pastor to Older Adults at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina, Pastor at Church of Peace/Frieden Church, and Fraternal Worker in West Berlin, Germany during the fall of the Berlin Wall. Gene holds a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Studies/Counseling from Trinity International University and has pursued various theological studies at multiple seminaries. Additionally, Gene has a background in chemical dependency counseling and adolescent counseling from the University of Minnesota.
