Sergio Abreu has held the position of Vice President of Google BizOps since October 2012, leading the Business Operations and Strategy team for Google and Alphabet, offering strategic guidance on market opportunities and product development. In addition to their role at Google, Sergio serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors at CapitalG, advising portfolio companies on monetization and market strategies. Prior experience includes a leadership role at McKinsey & Company, where Sergio focused on the Telecom, Media and Technology Practice in EMEA and contributed to the firm's expansion in Angola. Sergio also worked as a Teaching Associate at UCLA and began their career as a Systems Engineer at Riot Entertainment, a mobile gaming startup. Educated at institutions such as Harvard Business School and UCLA Anderson School of Management, Sergio holds multiple degrees in engineering and business.
