Karen Nelson has extensive experience in administrative and operational roles across various sectors. Currently serving as a Hospitality Specialist/Inspector at Capital Vacations since April 2021, Karen efficiently manages front desk operations and guest check-ins. Previous positions include Executive Assistant to the CEO at Career Source Research Coast, Civil Engineering Assistant with Indian River County Government, and Executive Assistant to the Assistant Superintendents' Office in the School District of Indian River County. Karen also held roles at Marietta City Schools and the Washington County Clerk of the Courts, showcasing a strong background in organization, data management, and client assistance. Education was pursued at Northern Virginia Community College.
