Meredith Milligan has a diverse work experience. They started their career in 2011 as a Physician Scientist Intern at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. They then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Salamone Behavioral Neuroscience Lab at the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they assisted in establishing a rodent model of Parkinson's disease and presented their findings at various research exhibitions. In 2015, they were a CUPID Summer Translational Oncology Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In 2018, they joined Concord Hospital Health System as a Family Physician and Physician Population Health Lead. They also worked at the New Hampshire Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency Program until 2021. Currently, they are a Leadership Preventive Medicine Resident at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

Meredith Milligan's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled at the University of Connecticut to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences. Meredith completed their undergraduate studies in 2014.
