Lawrence Deeter has extensive experience in transportation planning and system development, currently serving as Manager of System Development at CapMetro since 2011, following roles as Principal Planner and Senior Planner. Prior to CapMetro, Lawrence held positions at TranSystems as Senior Transportation Planner and Transportation Planner, and spent five years at the Chicago Transit Authority as Schedules Coordinator and Senior Transit Planner. Earlier experience includes working as Operations Planner II and Operations Planner at Pace Suburban Bus from 1992 to 2001. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Distribution Management from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Science in Urban Planning and Policy with a focus on Urban Transportation from the University of Illinois Chicago.
