Dario Villamaina is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and leadership roles within the finance and academic sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director at Capital Fund Management since May 2016, Dario has also held positions as Vice President, Research Manager, and Research Associate. Prior experience includes a post-doctoral role at École normale supérieure focusing on dimensionality reduction algorithms and bioinformatics, as well as a CNRS post-doctoral researcher position at Université Paris-Sud, where studies revolved around Random Matrix Theory. Dario's consultancy work at Pangea Formazione involved developing Bayesian networks for Telecom Italia. Dario earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Theoretical Physics and a degree in Theoretical Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma.
