Chip Cagle possesses extensive experience in hospice and palliative care, currently serving as a "Retired" Administrator at Capital Caring Health since August 2021. Prior to this role, Chip held the position of Director of Spiritual Formation at Capital Caring from January 2017 and has been the Executive Director since October 2007, during the organization's previous iteration as Hospice of Northern Virginia. Chip's leadership experience includes serving as Executive Director at Hospice of the Shoals from 2006 to 2007, Director of Corporate Development at Hospice of Tennessee Valley from 2005 to 2006, and COO at Hospice & Palliative Care Center in 2005. Additionally, Chip was the COO, CFO, Interim CEO, and Manager of Chaplaincy/Bereavement at Hospice & Palliative Care of Alamance County from 1991 to 2004. Academically, Chip Cagle holds a Master of Arts in Religious Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, an MBA in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of North Alabama, and a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Psychology and Sociology from the University of Mississippi.
