Nancy Santos is a health care leader with 30 years of experience, including 14 years in leadership positions in several Maryland system organizations. She is an empathetic leader and strives for excellence. She has led hospital-wide programs such as RISE (resiliency in stressful events), focusing on employees' emotional well-being, and has transformed units to accommodate critically ill patients and designed new units to provide state-of-the-art care. She was the director of nursing for the COVID task force, where she collaborated with additional system hospitals and the state to implement successful covid operations. Her areas of expertise include cardiac, general medicine, and behavioral health.
