Michelle Nguyen is an experienced signmaker and freelance designer with a background in visual communication design. Currently employed at Canyon Market since August 2015, Michelle showcases special events and sale items through various signage materials. Michelle has also provided freelance design services since August 2012, focusing on branding, animation, and signage for diverse clients. Previous roles include a Visual Design Fellowship at the Wikimedia Foundation, a Social Media and Marketing Communications Specialist at the North of Market Neighborhood Improvement Corporation, and earlier work as a signmaker and customer service associate at Falletti Foods. An internship at BAYCAT further honed Michelle's graphic design skills. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communication Design from San Francisco State University and a high school diploma from Galileo Academy of Science and Technology.
