Michael Potts is a data analyst currently working at ANFCA since March 2024, where collaboration with cross-functional teams has facilitated the development of innovative educational and data collection strategies. Prior experience includes serving as a statistician and health care researcher at Canuck Place Children's Hospice and engaging in data science research focused on deep learning at Sunstella. Michael has a background in renewable energy research as a research assistant at TLEC Innovations and worked as a registered nurse with Interior Health Authority. Additional roles include tutoring university-level biology and nursing courses, data abstraction for the Kelowna Injury Surveillance Collaborative, and nursing lab assistance at the University of British Columbia. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia.
