Soon Keen Lee is an accomplished executive in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer for APAC & MENA at Canopius Group since June 2024. Prior to this role, Soon Keen Lee was the Chief Executive Officer at AIG from August 2021 to June 2024 and held notable positions at Aspen Insurance Group from June 2009 to August 2021, including Head of Asia and Property Treaty Asia Pac. Earlier experience includes managing the Property and Terrorism portfolio as a Property & Terrorism Underwriter at Catlin Singapore Pte Ltd, and serving as Deputy Regional Manager at AIG, where responsibilities included profitability management for the South East Asia Property and Terrorism portfolio. Soon Keen Lee began a career in broking as a Broking Executive at RHB Insurance Brokers, focusing on client relationships and risk analysis. Educational qualifications include an Honours degree in Business Administration from Coventry University and studies at Inti College.
