Gregory Vitous is a software and system engineer currently working at Canoo since May 2021, with prior experience as a CNC/manufacturing design intern. Gregory also served as a research assistant at Michigan State University's Advanced Diagnostics and Combustion Lab, where research focused on the propagation of various turbulent jet flames under the guidance of Dr. Patton Allison. Previous roles include a prototype engineer and Catia design intern at Canoo, where the redesign of the steering wheel assembly for beta production cars was led. Early experience includes working as an account receivables intern at Xenon Investments Corp. Academically, Gregory is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, following a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
