Lisa has been a member of the Diversity, Inclusion, & Social Equity Committee at the California Cannabis Industry Association, where they foster mentorship relationships and works towards diversity and inclusion within the industry. Lisa is the Founder & Co-Chair of the Marketing & Advertising Committee at the National Cannabis Industry Association, where they have authored publications and leads the committee. Lisa is an experienced speaker in the cannabis industry and has worked as a Lead Content Creator, CBD expert, product reviewer, and writer for CannaInsider.com. Lisa has also held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Tradiv, the cannabis industry's largest B2B online wholesale marketplace, and worked as a Program Associate at Canopy Boulder, a business accelerator for the cannabis industry. Additionally, Lisa has been a Brand Ambassador for marketing agencies.

Lisa Buffo has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland. Lisa also studied Psychology and English at Birkbeck, University of London. Before attending university, Lisa Buffo attended Shaker Heights High School. Additionally, they obtained the Hubspot Inbound Certification from HubSpot in July 2015.
