Ignacio "Nacho" Avila brings extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Lean Manufacturing at Candesant Biomedical since December 2022. Previously, Nacho held the position of Director of Manufacturing at Nanōmix from March 2021 to November 2023 and served as Manufacturing Manager at PROCEPT BioRobotics and Clarity Medical Systems, Inc. from September 2018 to February 2021 and 2015 to March 2018, respectively. Nacho's career includes roles such as Product Manufacturing Manager at Asante Solutions and Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Halt Medical Inc. and Sanarus. Additionally, Nacho has experience as an R&D Engineer at Covidien and held technical roles at Advanced Micro Devices and Johnson & Johnson. Nacho obtained a BS in Business Technology Management from DeVry Institute of Technology and an AA in Electronics and Computer Science from Heald College.
