Isam Abdel-Karim, MD, MSCI, MHA, currently serves as Vice Chief of Staff at St. Bernards Healthcare since January 2022 and has been an Attending Physician in the Department of Hematology/Oncology at Cancer Care Associates since September 2017. Previously, Isam Abdel-Karim held the role of Attending Physician at Cooper Clinic, PA from December 2011 to August 2017 and was an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio from June 2008 to December 2011. Isam Abdel-Karim's education includes a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith (2016-2018), a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship (2005-2008), a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation, a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship (2004-2005), and a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship (2003-2004) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Isam Abdel-Karim completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Case Western Reserve University and earned an MBBS from the University of Jordan (1992-1998).
