Katherine Froelicher began their work experience as a Legal Intern at the Civil Litigation Office of the Attorney General DC in 2005. In this role, they conducted legal research, drafted subpoenas and motions, and assisted lead attorneys in various cases. Katherine then moved on to the International Labor Rights Fund in 2005, where they served as a Legal Intern and researched labor rights disputes. Katherine developed legal theories for civil actions and provided analysis for briefs.
In 2007, Froelicher worked as a Contract Attorney at Foley and Lardner LLP, where they reviewed and analyzed energy discovery for ongoing litigation. Katherine also reviewed and responded to discovery requests. Katherine then transitioned to Florida Light and Power in 2008, working as a Government Affairs Specialist. In this role, they reviewed legislation and regulatory actions, researched climate control issues, and attended hearings and meetings with stakeholder groups. Katherine also contributed to the development of company policies.
From 2009 to 2010, Froelicher worked as a Contract Attorney at Cadwalader Wickersham and Taft (through GW Law). Katherine'sresponsibilities included conducting due diligence reviews, researching and writing memos, and preparing documents in response to subpoena requests.
In 2010, Froelicher joined McDermott Will & Emery LLP as a Staff Attorney and remained in this role until 2018. Katherine'sduties included providing legal support for the firm and its clients.
Most recently, Froelicher has been associated with CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective since 2018. Katherine served as Compliance Counsel, General Counsel, and is currently the Vice President Legal.
Katherine Froelicher completed their Juris Doctor (JD) degree from The George Washington University Law School, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) with Merit in International Conflict Analysis from the London Center for International Studies - University of Kent, which they completed in 2003. Additionally, Katherine obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree from Connecticut College. Katherine also attended Annapolis High School, although no specific years or degrees were mentioned for this educational experience.
