Thomas Burns is an experienced maintenance and safety professional with a strong background in operations management. Currently serving as the Maintenance Manager at Canam Steel Corporation since July 2022, Thomas previously held the position of Plant Manager at TreeHouse Foods from May 2019 to April 2022. At ConAgra Foods/TreeHouse Foods from January 2013 to May 2019, Thomas managed Maintenance, Safety, Environmental, and Capital processes as the Maintenance/EHS Manager and EHS, PM Pillar Lead. Prior to that, from July 2009 to January 2013, Thomas was the Maintenance/Safety Manager at AIPC/RALCORP, where responsibilities included managing and implementing predictive and preventative maintenance programs and developing comprehensive safety initiatives. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University, earned between 2010 and 2014.
