Morgan Cowles is an experienced professional in heritage and environmental management, currently serving as the Heritage & Environment Manager for Wales and the South West at Canal & River Trust since March 2020. With a robust background in conservation, Morgan held various positions at English Heritage from June 2009 to March 2020, including Head of Conservation and Maintenance, where responsibilities included the care and maintenance of the estate in the South West, as well as managing contracts for conservation projects. Prior to this, Morgan worked as an Architectural Heritage Consultant at Yates & Associates Architects from 2005 to 2009. Morgan holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Conservation of Historic Built Environment from the College of Estate Management and a BSc Hons in Architectural Building Conservation from the University of South Wales.
