Iris F. currently serves as an English Second Language Teacher at Canal Alliance since December 2022, following a role as a VESL Instructor Assistant at the International Rescue Committee from May 2022 to December 2022, where instruction was provided to newly arrived refugees to support their employment goals. Additionally, Iris F. worked as an ESL Teaching Assistant at Peralta Community College District from April 2022 to December 2022 and spent over a decade at Stanislaus County Office of Education as a Child & Family Services Operations Coordinator from August 2011 to June 2022. Iris F. holds a graduate degree in International & Multicultural Education with a focus on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of San Francisco, achieving a GPA of 4.0, and received a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, graduating cum laude from Notre Dame de Namur University.
