George Anderson CFE CPP currently serves as the Director of Corporate Security at Canada Life and has held the position of Manager for the Special Investigations Unit at both Canada Life and Great-West Life since January 2018, focusing on fraud and abuse investigations. Additionally, George has been a Leadership and Violence Prevention Specialist at the ACHIEVE Centre for Leadership & Workplace Performance since 2010, previously serving in a similar role at the Crisis and Trauma Resource Institute Inc. from 2010 to January 2018. Earlier in George's career, positions included Director of Administration and various management roles at WCB Manitoba, where responsibilities encompassed safety, security, and investigations. George's career began as a Police Constable with the Toronto Police Service and included roles as an Emergency Medical Technician and Assistant Harbour Master in Winnipeg. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Studies from The University of Winnipeg and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Sciences from Western University.
