Christie Hillis, P. Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Production Engineer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) since October 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Petroleum Engineer at Maha Energy Inc., focusing on heavy oil projects in Oman and Brazil, and a managerial position at Gran Tierra Energy overseeing completions and workovers in Colombia. Christie has also held engineering roles with United Hydrocarbon International, Glencore E&P, and Penn West, with responsibilities spanning well design, completions, and resource estimation in various global locations. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and completion of the EDGE UP program in IT Project Management at the University of Calgary.
