Vaughn L. Hazen has extensive experience in information security and telecommunications, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at CN since November 2019. Previously, Vaughn held the CISO position at Freeport-McMoRan from September 2012 to November 2019 and had a notable career with the U.S. Coast Guard, where responsibilities included supervising training and operations of Maritime Law Enforcement teams while maintaining security clearance. Other significant roles include Chief Operational Security Officer at Solvay, where oversight was provided for information security operations within a $15 billion international chemicals company, and Telecommunications Coordinator at Dart Container. Vaughn's technical expertise is complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Wright State University.
