Darryl Kaplan

Vice President, Section 3 at Canadian National Exhibition

Darryl M. Kaplan is an experienced leader in the business and arts sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Director at the Canadian National Exhibition since October 2017, building upon a prior role as Director beginning in October 2016. Additionally, Darryl holds positions as Vice President and President of the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame since May 2018 and President and CEO of Standardbred Canada since May 2003, where responsibilities include leadership in various strategic departments. Darryl previously served as President of the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas from May 2011 to May 2019 and founded the Baby Point Gates Business Improvement Area, showcasing a strong commitment to community and local businesses. With a background in communications and business development, Darryl has consistently demonstrated industry innovation and leadership throughout a diverse career that includes roles at Evymama Inc., Woodbine Entertainment Group, and the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club. Darryl M. Kaplan earned an Honors B.A. in Political Science from Western University in 1997.
