Lindy Davies is an experienced acting mentor at the Canadian Film Centre since February 2009, collaborating with actors, writers, and directors. From May 2011 to 2013, Lindy served as a theatre director, performance consultant, and script consultant for DreamAgo, focusing on international screenwriters for the project "Plumes et Pellicule." Prior to this, Lindy held the position of Head of the School of Drama at the former Victorian College of the Arts from November 1995 to January 2007, where Lindy developed an integrated course for the training of autonomous actors, theatre makers, writers, and directors, and is currently preparing a book on the approach to performance. Lindy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Monash University, studied from 1966 to 1968, and has attended St Leonards Presbyterian College.
