Arezou Abbassi is a Human Resources Specialist at the Canadian Film Centre since July 2017, where responsibilities include providing support to the Chief Human Resource Officer, assisting with clerical duties, data entry, file maintenance, policy research, and participating in the recruiting process and orientation. Prior experience includes roles as Human Resources Coordinator, Assistant, and Intern at Ryerson University from December 2016 to May 2018, and as a Behavioral Interventionist at CBI Health Group from January 2016 to September 2016, focusing on developing intervention plans for children and youth with autism. Arezou Abbassi holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University.
