Wallace Wong is currently serving as AVP of Enterprise Architecture at Canada Life since April 2022. Previously, Wong held multiple leadership roles at Scotiabank from August 2005 to April 2022, including Director of DevOps and Director of Data Engineering, where responsibilities included guiding the strategic data and analytics platform and managing enterprise data architecture initiatives. Wong's earlier positions at Scotiabank included roles as Senior Enterprise Data Architect and Senior Solutions Architect, overseeing risk applications, data governance, and financial compliance projects. Prior to Scotiabank, Wong worked at Bell Sygma and Black Photo Corporation, gaining significant experience in electronic messaging systems and retail point-of-sale solutions. Wong earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto between 1989 and 1993.
