Joanne Stanley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership, marketing, and advocacy within the technology and communications sectors. Currently serving as a Member of the Board Audit and Finance Committee at RA Centre Ottawa, and as a Director on the Board of Directors for Ingenium and the Ingenium Foundation, Joanne contributes to initiatives promoting scientific literacy and health in Canada. Previously, Joanne held the position of Executive Director and Advisor to the Board at Women in Communications & Technology, where significant focus was placed on enhancing gender parity and diversity in leadership. Joanne co-founded the Canadian Women in Technology initiative and has held senior roles in marketing and public relations at organizations such as the Ontario Centre of Innovation and Bell, demonstrating a commitment to advancing women in technology and fostering collaborative partnerships in research.
