Sameh Awaida, Ph.D., PMP, EMCDSA, currently serves as the Chief Data Scientist at Canada Clean Fuels, where responsibilities include developing route planning and optimization algorithms to enhance logistics operations. Previously, Awaida held the role of Data Scientist at Toptal and was an Assistant Professor at Al Qassim University in Saudi Arabia, where instruction covered topics such as Computer Organization, Intelligent Systems, and Robotics. Earlier positions include Lecturer roles at KFUPM and Princess Sumaya University for Technology, where Awaida also founded a Robotics Club. Awaida earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals and holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hartford.
