Michael James Daugherty has extensive experience in power generation, having worked at CAMS since October 1994 as an Operation Specialist, Senior Control Operator, and Outage Lead at a 120 MW combined cycle gas turbine cogeneration facility. Michael has managed an average of over 540 startups and shutdowns annually, amassing over 3,000 of each during the tenure. Prior to CAMS, Michael served as a Commission Specialist and Power Plant Operator at Sithe Energies from March 1990 to August 1994, contributing to an 80 MW combined cycle facility and a 20 MW biomass cogeneration facility. Michael's career began in the U.S. Navy from October 1977 to October 1981 as a Machinist Mate 2nd class, with training in engine room operations.
