George Payne is an experienced accounting professional with a robust background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Director Of Accounting at CAMS since August 2021, George previously held the position of Director Of Finance And Accounting at Perdido Energy, LLC from August 2019 to August 2021. Between 2011 and 2015, George contributed as the VP of Accounting & HR at Momentum Oil and Gas, overseeing various aspects of exploration and production accounting. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Controller at Phoenix Exploration Company LP, where responsibilities included managing financial statement preparation and reconciliations, and as Controller at Explore Enterprises of Louisiana LLC, handling all aspects of exploration and production accounting. George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The University of Southern Mississippi, completed in 1990.
