Caren Camp is the Senior Director of Global Accounts with HelmsBriscoe, a meeting planning company, headquartered in Arizona. Based in Alexandria, Virginia, she facilitates venue, transportation and entertainment needs for 55 meetings/conventions per year, negotiates contracts with hotels and clientele, and develops new business. HelmsBriscoe contracts 55,000 meetings per year and is the leader in the industry. Caren works with associations and corporations of all sizes. She is a 2010-2019 President’s Club winner for generating more than $1 million in revenue per year. Caren has enjoyed 19 years with HelmsBriscoe. Caren has extensive experience in program development, marketing and communications while serving in positions at Estee Lauder, Inc. (8 years) as a Regional Marketing Director and on the board of the Ethos Foundation (6 years) (a nonprofit that serves people with addictions).
Caren serves on the Board of Trustees at St. Mary’s College in Raleigh, NC. and served for 8 years on the board of ACT; Alexandria Community Trust. Caren is also involved with CASE; Center for Adoption Support & Education. She is a member of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce and has previously served on the ACC board. Previously, she volunteered with the Junior League of Northern Virginia.
Caren is a graduate of St. Mary’s College in North Carolina, and the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising in New York.
