Claudia Behringer-Smith is an experienced Adventure Program Coordinator at Camp Merrie-Woode, overseeing diverse adventure programming since May 2016. With leadership roles as a Camp Counselor, including serving as Waterfront Director, Claudia managed logistics and staff for various water programs. Educationally, Claudia has also taught Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking as an Adjunct Professor at Brevard College and developed a Custom Trip Program as an Outdoor Adventure Intern at the University of Central Florida. Claudia's background includes experience as a Kayak Instructor at Nantahala Outdoor Center and a Retail Sales Representative at Columbia Sportswear. Claudia holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Education from the University of Central Florida, an Associate's degree from Daytona State College, and a High School Diploma from New Smyrna Beach High School.
