Jenny Plume has extensive experience in the field of music therapy, working with children of various ages and diagnoses. Jenny started their career as a Music Therapist at Giant Steps Toronto, where they provided individual and group therapy sessions for children with autism. Jenny then moved on to Monroe Carell Jr Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, where they developed and implemented the hospital's first music therapy program. Jenny also worked at Belmont University as the Coordinator of Clinical Placements, where they arranged music therapy practicum placements for over 50 students. Jenny joined Stollery Children's Hospital as a Team Lead Manager and later became the Team Lead- Child Life, overseeing the child life team. Most recently, Jenny served as the Administrative Director at Camp Manitou Canada.
Jenny Plume holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music, where they studied Business and Songwriting from 1989 to 1991. Jenny also completed a Master of Arts degree in Music Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they earned an Equivalency Degree in Music Therapy from Tennessee Technological University from 2001 to 2003. Earlier in their education, they attended Northwestern University from 1987 to 1989, although no degree was specified for that time.
