Cristina Paula Baptista is a seasoned professional specializing in democratic governance and peacebuilding programs, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Camões - Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I.P. Since April 2019, Cristina has focused on designing programs related to good governance, justice, and public finance oversight. Past leadership roles include coordinating the Partnership to Improve Service Delivery initiative in Timor-Leste, serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Secretary of State Deputy in Internal Affairs for the Portuguese Government, and holding various legal advisory positions across prominent organizations. Cristina's academic credentials include a Law degree from Universidade de Coimbra, a Master in Regional Development from Universidade da Beira Interior, and a diploma in Public Policy Analysis from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
