Bill Gross has a rich work experience, starting in 1996 when they founded Idealab, a Technology Incubator that has successfully started over 150 companies and generated more than 10,000 jobs in the past 24 years. Idealab has had numerous successful IPOs and acquisitions and currently has 45 operating companies in its portfolio.
In 2000, Gross founded X1, and in 2001, they became a Trustee at the Art Center College of Design. In 2015, they co-founded Migo, Inc. where they also served as Chairman. In 2017, Gross founded Energy Vault SA and Elementary Robotics, and in 2019, they founded Camino Mobility and CarbonCapture Inc., serving as Founder and Chairman for all these companies.
In 2020, they became the Co-Founder and Board Member at UpdateAI and the Co-Founder of tvScientific. Overall, Gross has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit, founding and leading multiple successful companies in the technology and mobility sectors.
Bill Gross attended Birmingham High School from 1972 to 1976. Following their high school education, they went on to study at Caltech from 1976 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering.
