James Rhodes is a highly experienced professional with over 16 years in public administration, currently serving as Deputy County Administrator for Camden County since April 2007. In this role, James oversees multiple departments, including Public Safety, Community Development, and Information Technology, while also managing the county's employee Intranet portal. Prior to this position, James was the inaugural Chair of the Board of Directors for the Rutgers University Alumni Association from July 2008 to June 2011, a role that involved coordinating a global network of over 500,000 alumni. Additionally, from September 1998 to April 2007, James held the position of Director of Legislative Policy and Communications at Independence Blue Cross, where responsibilities included managing government relations and advocacy, as well as overseeing communications and community relations efforts.
